The touch panel includes a first transparent film having an upper surface and a lower surface, a first transparent electrode layer at the upper surface of the first transparent film, a second transparent film having an upper surface and a lower surface, a second transparent electrode layer at the lower surface of the second transparent film, the second transparent film being configured to overlap the first transparent film with a gap therebetween such that the first transparent electrode layer and the second transparent electrode layer face each other, and a deformable optical layer filling the gap between the first transparent film and the second transparent film.
