The storage compartment further includes, but is not limited to a movable element, a cargo space in the motor vehicle defined with the movable element that is at least partially bordered by the motor vehicle seat and situated with respect to the motor vehicle seat, and a wall bordering the cargo space in at least one direction and detachably coupled with the movable element with a coupling element so that the wall moves with the movable element.
