The mobile communication device includes a first body including a display, a second body foldably connected to the first body, a slider body slidably connected to the second body, the slider body having at least one key that is exposed when the slider body is moved into an open position, and a camera arranged at the second body, the camera being exposed when the slider body is moved into the open position. A method for controlling the same is also provided. The method includes executing a first mode when the first body and second body foldably connected to each other are unfolded, and executing a second mode other than the first mode when a slider body slidably coupled to the second body is moved.
