The energy accumulator rests on the caliper or similar while being supported on an abutment by means of a lever arm. A mechanism for transmitting resilient forces between the energy accumulator embodying one spring element is created with the aid of a lever arm via the abutment. The brake device is characterized in that the lever arms can take at least two or more different angular positions relative to each other in relation to the abutment.
