The recording device may yet further comprise a light emitter, and a light receiver configured to receive the light from the light emitter. The recording device may yet further comprise a position detector configured to detect the positional relationship on the basis of an intensity of the light received by the light receiver. The recording device may yet further comprise an outputting unit configured to output a signal of the positional relationship.
