The element is formed from a material including at least one plastic and a filler. The filler includes three-dimensional geometrical carbon-based structures having nanometer-scale dimensions. In some arrangements, the carbon-based structures are carbon nanotubes formed of carbon atoms. Accordingly, the element is capable of dissipating electrostatic charges of the cable carrier device. Thus, the corresponding cable carrier device is suitable for working environments that are to be protected from electrostatic effects.
