The array substrate includes a switch element, an insulation layer which is disposed at least in the reflective part, a pixel electrode which includes a transmissive electrode disposed in the transmissive part of the pixel and a reflective electrode electrically connected to the transmissive electrode and disposed on the insulation layer in the reflective part, the pixel electrode being electrically connected to the switch element via a contact hole which is formed in the insulation layer by the reflective electrode, and a cover member which covers the reflective electrode in the contact hole and is formed of a material having a lower reflectance than the reflective electrode.
