The sub-pixel electrode has a second width, which is greater than the first width in the first direction, has a third width, which is a maximum width in the first direction at a central portion of the sub-pixel electrode, has a fourth width in the second direction at a position with a first distance from the first edge in the first direction, and has a fifth width, which is less than the fourth width at a position with a second distance, which is greater than the first distance, from the first edge in the first direction.
