The information processing apparatus registers the workflow having a plurality of steps and manages a start parameter for indicating a condition for starting each step included in the workflow and an end parameter that is generated at an end of the each step. The apparatus determines a second step for following a first step based on the end parameter of the first step and the managed start parameters.
