The invention relates to a methacrylic composition comprising (100-x-y) parts of at least one methacrylic polymer comprising a MMA homo- or copolymer containing dispersed therein: x parts of particles of a thermoplastic polymer A containing MMA as a majority monomer which is crosslinked or has a weight-average mass Mw>300,000 g/mol, (in relation to a PMMA standard), with a weight-average diameter (ASTM D1921)>100 μm, and
