The peripheral device is configured for detachable operative interconnection with a computing device and comprises a first portion, a second portion, and an operatively connected peripheral device component. The first portion includes a first hinge portion, which defines an axis of rotation, and comprises a first protrusion and a second protrusion. The first protrusion is disposed axially separated at a predetermined distance from the second protrusion. The second portion includes a second hinge portion, which is operatively interconnected with the first hinge portion to allow the first portion and the second portion to rotate relative to one another about the axis of rotation between a first angle and a second angle. The peripheral device component provides one or more peripheral device functions. The first angle and the second angle at least in part are defined by the first protrusion and the second protrusion.
