The shelf further includes at least one retaining member for retaining the panel at its lower part, which retaining member can be inserted laterally into a hole made in a rib of the frame, which rib runs along the panel, being offset internally relative to the external peripheral edge of the frame, and extends beyond the panel, and then can be fastened onto or behind the border wall of the hole, the retaining member bearing, in the fastened position, against the panel.
