The instructions, responsive to execution, configure the processor to cause the apparatus at least to perform receiving information indicative of a user selection of at least one future payment commitment of the user, receiving an indication of user selected parameters corresponding to a coverage option entitling the user to receive a financial benefit to at least partially cover the at least one future payment commitment of the user in response to an occurrence of a qualifying event, determining a payment to be paid on behalf of the user to maintain the coverage option, and, in response to receiving an indication of the occurrence of the qualifying event, causing provision of the financial benefit to at least partially cover the at least one future payment commitment.
