On opposite sides of the slot first and second projections are arranged on the plastic collar and include a coaxial passage opening that is arranged perpendicular to the pipe axis and through which a transverse pin penetrates. The outside of the second projection has a stop and the outside of the first projection has a rotational axis for a clamping lever, that includes a lever arm, which at least partially encloses the plastic collar when the clamping apparatus is closed, and has an eccentric roll-off region.
