The container further includes a lidding configured to seal the container closed, the lidding having a second shield disposed on the lidding, such as at a predetermined distance from the container sidewalls. Further, a multi-compartment container is configured to provide shielding for a food having a low specific heat capacity with one or more compartments arranged around and at least partially surrounding a shielded central compartment for the food.
