The first substrate and/or the second substrate having at least one sealing hole, the sealing hole passing through thin film layers formed over the surface of the first substrate and/or the second substrate at the side such that the base material of the substrate is exposed, the sealing holes are formed in a region on a side opposite to the side where a driving circuit is disposed, and the sealing material is formed in the region including the sealing holes.
