First magnet elements or magnetic field generation elements are provided on the C-arm, and second magnetic field generation elements are provided on the holder. The first magnet elements or magnetic field generation elements and the second magnetic field generation elements interact with one another to establish a magnetic field guiding the C-arm in a non-contact manner. The magnetic field moves the C-arm along the trajectory.
