The current invention relates to a method of determining a quality of a received signal, wherein the method comprises receiving a signal comprising a first part and a second part and wherein at least the second part of the received signal comprises a scrambling sequence period; and determining a first noise-and-interference power of the first part of the received signal by removing a second noise-and-interference power of the second part of the signal, wherein the scrambling sequence period is utilized in the removal.
