The diesel exhaust fluid systems include a fluid reservoir having an inner surface and an opening therethrough, a fluid reservoir heating device positioned within the fluid reservoir, and a fluid reservoir spacer positioned within the fluid reservoir and between the inner surface of the fluid reservoir and the fluid reservoir heating device. The fluid reservoir spacer includes first and second portions on opposing sides of the opening through the fluid reservoir.
