The sensor (15) is constituted by a light-emitting element and a light-receiving element. A position of the sensor is determined so that a force acting on the sensor falls within a range from 50 gf to 200 gf in a case where the mobile terminal is supported at its lower end portion and at the sensor by a fingertip. Thus, the present invention provides the mobile terminal (10) which can be always carried with a user and which realizes easy and stable pulse measurement.
