A curable composition contains a polymerizable monomer which exhibits the L-scale Rockwell hardness of not larger than 40, a bifunctional polymerizable monomer which exhibits the L-scale Rockwell hardness of not smaller than 60, a polyfunctional polymerizable monomer which exhibits the L-scale Rockwell hardness of not smaller than 60, and a photochromic compound.
