An inspection controller performs inspection processing for printed matter for each page, and the main body controller preferentially stores image data of the reusable object, which corresponds to the page for which the printing has been determined to be defective as a result of inspection processing, in a cache unit. The main body controller acquires the reusable object, which corresponds to the page for which the printing has been determined to be defective, from the cache unit, and executes page reprint processing using the acquired reusable object.
