Abstract:
Disclosed is an organic electroluminescence element comprising an anode, a cathode and a plurality of organic compound layers between the anode and the cathode, provided that one of the organic compound layers is a light emitting layer containing a phosphorescence emitting compound, wherein at least one of the organic compound layers contains a compound represented by Formula (2): wherein, X represents O or S; three of Y1 to Y4 each are a group represented by Formula (2A), and one of Y1 to Y4 is a hydrogen atom. Formula (2A) is: Ar1L1n1* wherein, L1 represents a divalent linking group derived from an aromatic hydrocarbon ring or an aromatic heterocycle; n1 represents an integer of 0 to 3, provided that when n1 is 2 or 3, a plurality of L1s may be the same or different; “*” indicates a linking position with Formula (2).
