A spark plug has spark members; each of the spark members has a weight of 1.5 mg or more; and a center electrode and a ground electrode contain Ni as a main component, C in an amount of 0.005% by mass to 0.10% by mass, Si in an amount of 1.05% by mass to 3.0% by mass, Mn in an amount of 2.0% by mass or less, Cr in an amount of 20% by mass to 32% by mass, and Fe in an amount of 6% by mass to 16% by mass.
