The vendor specific command packet includes a plurality of headers of a first type, a plurality of headers of a second type, and a payload. A device configured to stream data over a plurality of data links formed between a plurality of slave devices includes a host adapted to construct a vendor specific command packet, a transport layer and a host controller adapted to receive the vendor specific command packet over the transport layer.
