The second surface includes an optically functional concave aspect, a recess formed along an outer perimeter of the concave aspect, a first protruding portion formed at a boundary of the concave aspect and the recess, a second protruding portion formed at a boundary of the recess and the peripheral surface, and a gate portion formed on the peripheral surface, at a position where a resin injection outlet is arranged during formation of the plastic lens.
