The second recording apparatus includes a receiving means for receiving the AV stream and the time information, and a recording control means for recording the AV stream on a predetermined recording medium as well as recording trick play information including recording positions of I-pictures included in the AV stream on the predetermined recording medium and time information indicating the time of respective I-pictures on the AV stream, which is generated based on the time information, on the predetermined recording medium.
