The client device comprises a transmitter to transmit a processing request to the server device in response to an input operation by a user, a display to display an object on a screen which can receive the input operation from the user, and an obtaining section to obtain from the server device both an initial estimate of time required for processing that will be executed by the server device in response to the processing request, and one or more updated estimates of required processing time if a certain amount of time has elapsed since the previous estimate.
