The process includes calculating a maximum stroke time that lasts from when a print pin arranged in a printhead is projected from the printhead by the maximum stroke to when the print pin is retracted in the printhead, setting an adjustment printing area on the printing medium, and switching a movement timing of the printhead in accordance with the maximum stroke time when a printing position of the printhead falls within the adjustment printing area set on the printing medium.
