A computationally implemented method includes, but is not limited to: determining which of a plurality of users detected in proximate vicinity of a computing device has primary control of the computing device, the computing device designed for presenting one or more items; ascertaining one or more particular formats for formatting the one or more items based, at least in part, on said determining; and presenting, via the computing device, the one or more items in the one or more particular formats.
