The history information recording device includes a connection terminal to which an external storage medium is connected, in which the history information is transmitted to and recorded on the external storage medium connected to the connection terminal in response to a given instruction. Therefore, it is possible to check the history information of the image display equipment without displaying the history information on a screen of the image display equipment.
