A notification unit notifies a user of information. A login controller receives a login request of a user from the operation unit or from an external terminal apparatus via the communication unit, and determines whether to permit the login. Upon receipt of a login request from a second user when a first user has already logged in, the login controller notifies the first user of occurrence of the login request via the communication unit or the notification unit, and permits the login of the second user in accordance with a notification received from the first user via the communication unit or an operation performed by the first user with the operation unit.
