The method includes: determining positions of touch points on a display screen; calculating, according to the positions of the touch points, a size of a zoomed display area of a folder item; acquiring a data source that is of the folder item and needs to be displayed, where the data source of the folder item corresponds to the size of the zoomed display area; and displaying the folder item according to an acquired data source and the size of the zoomed display area. According to the embodiments, the level of detail of folder item information in the window may be quickly changed without the need of page switching, thereby improving user experience with simple and quick operation.
