An assembly includes a nose piece and a boreless compressor wheel having a nose end configured for receipt of the nose piece and a receptacle at a base end configured for receipt of a rotatable shaft. A method includes fitting a nose piece to a boreless compressor wheel, measuring unbalance and, based in part on the measuring, removing material from the nose piece.
