A method of transmitting data over a plurality of parallel transmission links, including dividing the data into a plurality of portions, and for each one of the portions in consecutive order providing the portion to a transmitter, and sending the portion over a transmission link connected to the transmitter, wherein the providing is made according to a plan which is independent of addressing information associated with the data. A method for reassembling data from a plurality of portions of the data received over a plurality of parallel transmission links including copying a first portion, according to an order among the portions, thereby producing partially reassembled data, from each one of the plurality of parallel transmission links, copying and appending a next portion to the partially reassembled data, according to the order among the portions, and continuing the copying and appending until the data has been completely reassembled.
