The scanning line drive circuit turns ON the first switching transistor so that reference voltage is supplied to the gate electrode of the drive transistor, and turns ON the second switching transistor in a period in which the first switching element is ON so that a predetermined reset voltage is applied from the data line to a connection point between a first electrode of the luminescence element and a source electrode of the drive transistor.
