Starting from, as the initial composite, an LAS component in accordance with the composition LixAlySizOw, where x varies between 0.8 and 1.2, y varies between 0.8 and 1.2, z varies between 0.8 and 2, and w varies between 4 and 6, the LAS component is subsequently mixed with SiC nanoparticles, to obtain a stable, homogeneous suspension. Thereafter, the resulting suspension is dried. Subsequently, the material obtained is shaped and, finally, the material obtained in the preceding step is sintered.
