Abstract:
A structured surfactant composition, comprising, based on 100 parts by weight of said composition, (i) from greater than 0 to about 15 parts by weight of an alkyl ether sulfate surfactant, (ii) from greater than 0 to about 15 parts by weight of an alkyl sulfate surfactant, (iii) from greater than 0 to about 8 parts by weight of an alkanolamide surfactant, (iv) from 0 to about 10 parts by weight of an amphoteric surfactant, provided that the total amount of components (i), (ii), (iii), and (iv) is greater than or equal to 5 parts by weight, (v) an amount of electrolyte effective to, in combination with components (i), (ii), (ii), and (iv), provide a structured surfactant composition having an opaque visual appearance and exhibiting a yield strength of greater than 0 Pascals, and (vi) water.
