A measurement arrangement is configured to ascertain at least one of a load current through a load path of the transistor, and a load voltage across the load path of the transistor and to provide a measurement signal that is dependent on at least one of the load current and the load path voltage. An actuation current source is configured to receive the measurement signal and to provide an actuation current at the actuation output, the actuation current having a current level dependent on the measurement signal.
