A phase change ink including at least one crystalline component of the formula wherein R1 and R2 can be the same or different, and wherein R1 and R2 each, independently of the other, is (i) an alkyl group, (ii) an arylalkyl group, (iii) an alkylaryl group, or (iv) an aromatic group, provided that at least one of R1 and R2 is an aromatic group, and wherein the crystalline component has a melting point of from about 65° C. to about 150° C.; at least one amorphous component; and an optional colorant.
