The backlight module comprises a light guide plate and a plurality of light sources. The light guide plate has a bottom surface. The bottom surface is formed with a middle trench. The middle trench comprises dimming cants. The light sources are positioned at two opposite sides of the light guide plate in accordance with the dimming cants. The present invention can adjust a light intensity distribution and promote the central brightness of the screen.
