A circumferential velocity of at least one of the first conveying roller pair and the second conveying roller pair is switched so as to meet conditions, i.e., |Va|>|Vb| when the sheet is conveyed through the first conveying path and |Va|≦|Vb| when the sheet is conveyed through the second conveying path. Here, |Va| is an absolute value of the circumferential velocity of the first conveying roller pair, and |Vb| is an absolute value of the circumferential velocity of the second conveying roller pair.
