This portable electronic device is equipped with: an operation-unit-side chassis; a display-unit-side chassis; a connecting part that connects the operation-unit-side chassis and the display-unit-side chassis such that transformation to the first state and to the second state are possible; a magnetic field-shielding part disposed in the operation-unit-side chassis; and an antenna that is disposed in the display-unit-side chassis.
