According to an example embodiment of the invention, a method is provided that can include simulating a pipeline delivery infrastructure; identifying one or more sections in the infrastructure; and forecasting an impact of the infrastructure based on one or more modifications to the infrastructure or on one or more new demand points wherein the forecasting comprises estimating pressures in each of identified one or more sections.
