A method includes receiving a plurality of environment objects, and receiving energy attributes corresponding to one or more of the environment objects. The method includes simulating the operation of the environment objects and, during the simulation, calculating values for the energy attributes reflecting the energy use for the respective energy attributes. The method includes displaying the calculated values for the energy attributes.
