The rotor carrying a hub, the rotor being supported in the housing by an outer tapered roller veering toward the rotor hub and an inner tapered roller bearing away from the rotor hub. The rotor having a larger diameter at the outer bearing that at the inner tapered bearing; and a single first stage compound differential planetary including an input sun gear driven by the rotor and a plurality of free planets. The single first stage compound differential planetary including an inner annular gear fixed to the rotor shaft, the compound differential planetary gear meshing the plurality of free planets with the fixed annular gears on one end and with output ring gears on the opposite end with two attached stiff rings.
