The display apparatus includes a signal processor which processes an image signal and an audio signal; a display unit which displays an image corresponding to the image signal processed by the signal processor; a speaker which outputs a sound wave corresponding to the audio signal processed by the signal processor; and a controller which controls the signal processor to adjust the sound wave corresponding to the audio signal to an adjustment value according to an installation condition of the display apparatus.
