A computer-implemented method includes receiving, using at least one computer, image information, wherein the image information contains business object identifying data, analyzing the received image information to retrieve the business object identifying data, identifying at least one business object corresponding to the retrieved business object identifying data, retrieving business object information associated with the identified at least one business object from a memory, and transmitting the retrieved business object information to at least one business application.
