An animal alert device comprising a sound emitting device, the sound emitting device having an internal geometry configured to emit sound while a vehicle is in motion, an attachment portion having a first portion, a second portion, and a transition portion, wherein the attachment portion is configured to engage a window of the vehicle when in a first position, and an extension portion operably connecting the sound emitting device and the attachment portion, wherein the animal alert device is movable from the first position to a second position from a position within the vehicle is provided.
