Systems, methods and products are described that provide accelerated boot performance. One aspect includes initiating a booting process of a user operating system of a computer system; identifying a non-critical hardware device set for start up according to the user operating system; excluding the non-critical hardware device; and completing the booting process to provide the user operating system without starting an excluded non-critical hardware device.
